From The Blog
It has been awhile since we posted any updates to our blog page and I must say a lot has been going on since then. We ended 2017 with a record number of shows and a lot of new friends and followers of our band. We thank you all for making this happen. Your support of the Eagles music and the Out of Eden Band has brought many new opportunities to perform in 2018.
We started our 2018 Winter Concert Season with two return performances at the Mapleside Farms Winter Concert Series and the Hard Rock Rocksino Club Velvet with SOLD OUT shows. Our next two concerts were at the new Woodside Live Event Center and The Galaxy Restaurant. To our amazement, both of these shows were also SOLD OUT events. We are so appreciative of the live concert venues and the opportunities in the Akron-Cleveland music scene. Without the public support of live music, these events could not happen. We encourage you to not only support our band but also the other Tribute Bands performing at local communities and Concert Venues. We have a tremendous amount of talented musicians in Northeast Ohio who love the classic rock music of the past, and fortunately for the bands, a lot of fans who enjoy the music as well.
We will officially kick off the summer concert season with Memorial Day Weekend, beginning on Friday May 26th at Fiores Restaurant in Wooster. This is our third year at Fiore’s. Lets fill the patio as we rock the night away with all of your favorite Eagles music as well as some of Don Henley and Joe Walsh hits. Saturday we will make our first appearance at The House of Blues in Cleveland along with our own Tribute to Linda Ronstadt, Just One Look Ohio and Rumourz, A Fleetwood Mac Experience. Three great shows, one low price. Sunday we will travel to Orwell Grand Valley, and Monday, Memorial Day, we will return to Whiskey Island for an afternoon of music on the shores of Lake Erie, one of our favorite events. Yes, that’s a lot of entertaining for one weekend, but I promise you these old guys will rock it out at each performance.
And that is just the beginning of our summer concert season. We have a full schedule for the next three months, so please check out our list of venues and plan on attending a show near you. We look forward to seeing our old friends and making new ones as well. Thank you again for your support of our band.
As we approach the end of another year, Out of Eden would like to thank each and every one of you who attended one or some of our Eagles Tribute shows. It has been a great year! Attendance at our shows has increased with every performance, and we are firmly establishing ourselves as one of the finest Eagles Tribute bands in the area and we owe this to you, our fans. We have sold out several shows, including the Barn Winter Concert Series and Tangiers and set record attendance at many others. We are proud of this accomplishment.
In addition to our Eagles Tribute, we introduced a female vocal group at our Tangiers Show called Just One Look, A Tribute to Linda Ronstadt. Jackie and Jennifer stole the show and we are pleased to announce, they will be appearing with Out of Eden at several selected performances throughout the coming year. So watch for a new page on our website to be devoted to Just one Look and Out of Eden as their backup band. We will be spending the early part of 2017 working on and perfecting new songs for both the Eagles and the Ronstadt music as we continue to build a concert show spotlighting both the Eagles and Linda Ronstadt together in the early days of their careers. One thing for sure, if you did not see the Tangiers show, you will want to come out and hear both groups perform together and solo at one of our venues in 2017.
Our 2017 schedule is booking up fast, beginning with our return to Mapleside Farms Winter Concert Series at the Barn in February. Mapleside Farms will be finalizing their winter concert schedule soon and you will want to get your tickets early as this show sold out last year. It is a beautiful venue and a great place to go in the Winter to listen to live music. We hope to see you there. We will also be returning to Tangiers in the Fall of 2017 with lots of summer shows in between these two dates. We are adding new dates weekly, so continue to watch our event page to see where we might be playing close to you. We look forward to seeing you soon. Thank you again for making 2016 a great year. #oldguyscanrock

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH – TANGIERS Akron, Ohio
This will be our first time appearing at Tangiers. When you walk down the halls outside of the Cabaret Room and see all of the great pictures on the walls who have performed at Tangiers over the years, it truly is a honor to perform our Eagles Tribute Show on the same stage. In addition to The Eagles Tribute, we are happy to announce that Just One Look will be opening up with a short tribute to Linda Ronstadt. The vocal harmonies are exceptional and will be a welcome addition to this show.
For those of you who don’t know the history between Linda, Glen and Don, Linda Ronstadt brought the voices and musical talents of the late Glen Fry and Don Henley together to play in her backup band. It was short lived as Linda soon learned, these two guys had something special and didn’t want to hold them back. She then went on to sing with the Stone Poneys Band, and Glen and Don began their quest to put together a band that later became known as the Eagles. They remained close friends throughout their careers. Glen Fry inducted Linda to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014. So… to pair Out of Eden and Just One Look together seemed like a perfect match on stage. We hope you will agree.
Tickets can be purchased online: http://www.thetangier.com/upcoming-entertainment/, or by calling Tangiers Ticket office, 330-376-7l7l. Over half of the available tickets have been sold as of this post. If you are planning on attending, please don’t wait to purchase your tickets.
On behalf of the band members, Ronnie, Jim, John, Jay, Jeff and Jefferson, we thank the old and new friends we have met for a great season of music and friendship. To our sound and support engineers, Jack ,Pete and Bob, we couldn’t do this without you! We cannot forget Adam Podowski Photography who has captured the band on video and still shots all season long. And last but not least is Dennis, Top Shelf Entertainment, who has worked diligently to keep the band playing. Thank you!
We are constantly adding new shows, so check back often to see where we will be playing next. Until we see you again, rock on!
Our goal at every performance is to take our audience back to the 70’s and 80’s to the music they remember and loved. We will have you clapping and singing along to the classic hits such as Heartache Tonight, Take it Easy and Hotel California. We will have you up and dancing to the beat of Joe Walsh’s Funk 49, Walk Away and Rocky Mountain Way as well as the songs of Don Henley, Dirty Laundry and All She Wants To Do Is Dance. And for you lovers, you will be slow dancing to songs like Desperado, Love will keep us Alive and Best of My Love. One thing for sure, We put our heart and soul into each and every performance to make sure our audience goes away with memories of one of the best classic rock groups of all times.
So…..what are you waiting on? Check out our schedule, mark your calendars and get ready to rock with us soon. You will not be disappointed!
We are proud to announce the launch of our newly redesigned website. On behalf of all of us here at Out Of Eden, welcome! Our old website served us well for the past few years, but technology continues to develop and with this redesign we will be able to take advantage of the most current tools to make our reach most effective and carry our music and fans forward. What are some things to check out?
The new site has a modern layout and design. It is optimized to view it in multiple devices and using any level of internet connection. So whether you are on an iPad at home, Android phone in the field, or using your grandparents IBM in rural Southern Ohio, you will be able to join our fan base online and see an up to the minute listing of our upcoming shows.
We focused on integrating social media into every part of the site, so wherever you are you can share what you see with your friends and colleagues via the social tool bar on the right. We are also focusing more on multimedia, so images, videos and other multimedia content are emphasized to maximize the impact of our live events.
We encourage you to explore the new site, although much has changed, all of the resources that we have created over the years are still part of the site. Thanks to everyone who has given us feedback on the site design, and helped us to create the more connected, organized and social Out Of Eden website you see today.
